COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — AT&T is hiring for dozens of new jobs in South Carolina.
The telecommunications company said Tuesday that it will hire about 60 new technician and retail positions. The openings are a mix of technician and retail positions across the state.
Officials say AT&T invested nearly $140 million in its wireless and wired networks in South Carolina in the first half of this year. From 2010 to 2012, the company invested more than $850 million in its wireless and wired networks in the state.
AT&T currently employs more than 2,400 employees throughout South Carolina. More information on the new positions is available at here.
